In collaboration with three local Oral Health Community Taskforces based in San Francisco's Chinatown, MIssion and Bayview neighborhoods, the SF DTI LDPP will develop culturally appropriate messages that promote children's oral health and address the barriers faced by caregivers and parents of diverse communities in San Francisco.
The messages and resources developed through this pilot will be used to train the Health Workers of Pilot 2 and the Integration Technical Advisors of Pilot 4 to inform their work.
Oral Health Community Taskforces
Each Oral Health Community Taskforce is led by a community based non-profit agency based in three San Francisco neighborhoods facing the highest disparities in cavities experiences. The Chinatown Oral Health Community Taskforce is led by NICOS Chinese Health Coalition. The Mission Oral Health Community Taskforce is led by Central American Resource Center (Carecen), and the Bayview Oral Health Community Taskforce is led by APA Family Support Services.
