The Access Collaborative is one of the five pilots under the San Francisco Dental Transformation Initiative Local Dental Pilot Project (SF DTI LDPP). In partnership with AFL Enterprises, the SF DTI LDPP is providing no-cost training and technical assistance to dental practices in San Francisco that serve or plan to serve Medi-Cal pediatric patients 0-5.
Participating dental practices can learn how to implement efficient practice systems, create lasting changes, and provide preventive services to Denti-Cal beneficiaries in a sustainable manner. Participating practices will get the opportunity to learn and practice skills to integrate continuous quality improvement in ongoing and daily work processes.
Participating practices are expected to attend 3 sets of two-full-day learning sessions (total of 6 days) and are expected to participate in 3 action periods where multi-disciplinary teams formed by each practice will implement and test system changes to improve efficiency. The Access Collaborative will last for 6-9 months.
A scholarship of $6,000 will be offered to participating dental practices for full participation in the Collaborative. For more information, please view our Dental Access Collaborative FAQ.
