Over the course of the DTI project, the SF DTI LDPP team in collaboration with AFL Enterprises will lead participating dental practices in three sets of Learning Sessions (6 days) in each Dental Access Collaborative for dental practices to learn Quality Improvement strategies and evidence based best practices in preventive dental care for young patients 0-5 years old.
The learning sessions are designed to be a participatory, group learning experience. Dental practices get the chance to dive deep into thinking about their clinic workflow and operations, as well as the exposure to up to date evidence based best practices to help them better serve patients 0-5 years old.
Participating dental practices shared that they learned a lot from the learning sessions, and enjoyed the opportunity to network and to meet expert faculty members and other dental providers in the city.
